A/N: The characters are mostly actors from the film Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant. A cast of characters in my story can be found here. The story title comes from the language of flowers, where the honeysuckle represents "devoted affection, bonds of love, fraternal affection." Cut text is from the 10,000 Maniacs song Stockton Gala Days. Also: hahahahaha don't judge me for my pairings, I am judging myself hard enough for all XD

This is a very interesting question, and I'm really excited by the prologue!

I imagine it would be more of an issue with someone who wasn't rich enough to have agents as well as body slaves.

I'm with Thessaliad, John's mom may be overlooking some practical details that make keeping Patrick a very good idea; he'd have to train up someone entirely new and all that fuss. Very disruptive to business.
