Well, I think abolition and manumission are a long way from HAPPENING at this point in the timeline, I'm loathe to call any human rights movement just a pipe dream. Or...if it is, I think it's a pipe dream worth having. :) But yes, it's definitely a very controlled, dystopic environment.
